Vibrações vocalist Luiz de Assis steals the show at an Alagoas music festival awards ceremony!

The Festival de Música Popular em Cantos de Alagoas took place last weekend. There were four days of performances showcasing the best being produced in the state. The event packed the Teatro Gustavo Leite at the Maceió Convention Center. Luiz de Assis, vocalist of the band Vibrações, was the big winner, taking 1st place with the song "Sua Hora". Luiz also won in two more categories: best composition and best interpreter. Luiz de Assis highlighted the exchange of experience with other Alagoan musicians as the high point of the Festival. It is a great joy, this meeting with artists I did not know, with beautiful songs. I did not imagine I would win, but I won the sympathy of the crowd. I can only be grateful. This is bigger than any material prize" — Luiz praised.
