After serving the Porto Alegre cultural scene as a backing band, GrooVI released its first original work in 2016, "Raízes e Cultura".
The EP brings together compositions by Pablo SeeaRasta, who took on the band's lead vocals alongside members Fernando Catatau (drums), Saulo Pinheiro (bass), Amós Pachamama (keyboards), William Artuso (guitar) and Ras Vicente (keyboards).

The work draws on ancestral spirituality through Reggae, with lyrics that seek to awaken consciousness.
The song "Tempo de Reconciliar" leads to reflection on the Western way of life where materialism dominates and the relationship with nature is disrespectful. The tracks "Dê Valor" and "Longa Espera" are charged with positive vibrations and messages of hope. The EP also includes "Meu lugar", "Like a Lion" and "Injusta".
The musical producer of "Raízes e Cultura" is Júlio Porto, original guitarist of Ultramen, who already had the experience of accompanying the production of some records at Abbey Road Studio, the legendary London studio immortalized by the Beatles.

The work will be released on social media with videos for all tracks, following today's communication trends. Audiovisual production is by Marcos Fucks, graphic design by Original Productions, support from the Original Reggae channel and sponsorship by Bá Kombucha. Executive production is signed by Paradise Entretenimento.
