Jah9's new album, recently released, is enjoying great success in Brazil. The music video for the track “Note to Self” (the same name as the record), featuring Chronixx, has just reached 1 million views on YouTube. The surprise is that 70% of those views came from Brazilians. On the other hand, it is not so surprising that the album's popularity became expressive in such a short time. On it, Jah9 shows why she is one of the sensations of Reggae Revival, a movement of new-generation Jamaican artists that flirts with modernity while keeping the roots. Janine Cunningham, known as Jah9, has followed a brilliant career, always producing songs of content and great spiritual elevation. On what is her third album, besides Chronixx she brought other major guests such as Tarrus Riley and Pressure.
