If you are one of those who have been following Jamaican Reggae for a long time, you have certainly heard of Mutabaruka, one of the most mystical artists of DUB Poetry.
(The poet Mutabaruka)Revered for generations, the veteran “Muta” continues to appear in events of great magnitude such as Reggae Sumfest and Rebel Salute, and believe me, he has just made his first appearance in a music video in his career.
The song chosen was “Every Nubian is a Star” in partnership with another illustrious Jamaican veteran, now based in England - Earl Sixteen. The track is already well known to the public in other versions, including by another veteran - Big Youth.
Once again, the production of the Dutch label Jah Solid Rock excelled in the song and music video, which looks like it will be one of the year's winners.

“Every Nubian is a Star” was recorded at Tuff Gong Studio in Jamaica by Roland Mc Dermot, with executive production by Ras Denco, brass arrangements by Dean Fraser and Marc Baronner and musical direction by Mario “Djeynah Delbety”.
