A big hit in the '90s, Sr. Banana returns strong and promises news!
The Curitiba band Sr. Banana has a history of 26 years and was Virgin Records' first signing in Brazil in the 90s. The reach was international and in 1996 Sr. Banana had their first album produced by Fully Fullwood, Peter Tosh's bassist. The track "Dignidade" was a huge success at the time, alongside other songs that reached the TOP 20 on MTV and in Soap Operas on Globo. In the same year, the band ended up in Jamaica, joining the list of few Brazilian groups that performed there. On that occasion, they played at Reggae Sumfest, sharing the stage with Shaggy, Maxi Priest and other icons.

After a hiatus, Sr. Banana returned in 2018 with the single "Não Vá" and has already signed a contract with Sony Music, generating great radio exposure in Brazil. In 2019, the band released "Olhos Verdes" in partnership with Rick Bonadio's Midas Music, which has already produced big names in national music. At the end of 2019, the EP "MONO 2020" was released with five songs, which culminated in April of that year in a trilogy of clips that has already surpassed 1 million views. Now the band is in full swing releasing the tracks "Olhos Verdes" and "E Vem o Sol" and promises big news for 2021.
