The band Raiz Tribal has just released "Pra Deus", composed by Gill Enes, also the group's lead singer. The inspiration came during a rainy morning in São Luís do Maranhão, during a very dry period. Music came as a way of thanking the highest for all the blessings and for guiding people's lives through faith.
"Pra Deus" gained an international air when the notable Jamaican Duane Stephenson accepted an invitation to record it and complete its composition in English. All of this happened through Copeland Forbes, a giant figure in Jamaican entertainment who has worked with names like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff. Copeland took the song to Duane Stephenson at the request of Brazilian cultural producer Rafael Costa. The musical production is by Rafael Labate and Keké Enes. The person responsible for the cover of the single "Pra Deus" is the renowned artist from Maranhão Gil Leros and the person responsible for the graphic design is John Barros.
