Cat Coore: Third World loses one of its pillars and reggae bids farewell to a master of Jamaican music

It is with great sadness that the reggae world bids farewell to Cat Coore of Third World, a fundamental name in Jamaican music.

Multi-instrumentalist and founder of the group in 1973, Coore was responsible for translating into sound the soul, history, and identity of roots reggae, bringing the genre to different generations with sensitivity and truth. With Third World, he marked classics such as "Now That We Found Love", "96° in the Shade", and "Try Jah Love".

His art remains alive, echoing as an eternal part of reggae. Rest in power, Cat Coore.
