Official launch party for the album "Reggae do Bem" by the band Namastê!

After much anticipation from both the band and the public, the long-awaited CD finally arrives! Born three years ago in Ponta Grossa but with members from Curitiba, band Namastê has been seeking its place in the Curitiba music scene for quite some time. After the departure of the last vocalist (Fabinho), sisters Anamaria Ribeiro and Vilma Ribeiro took over lead vocals in 2000 and gave the band a new life. Boosted by the release of the Promotional Demo CD (for radio stations only), the band launched in April 2001 the Chegando Lá Project, a party held at the Moinho São Roque venue. In April 2002 the band finished recording its first CD and, finally, on July 22, 2002, the first 1,000 copies of the CD "Reggae do Bem" arrived from Manaus. The CD includes the songs: Velhos Tempos, Reggae do Bem, Na Rua da Vida, Yojahya, Menino Desta Nação, Dor do Nosso Amor, Alma da Capoeira, Sem Medo, Navio Negreiro and Tempestade, plus Reggae do Bem DUB Version and Alma da Capoeira DUB Version. "The path is not easy, but there will never be a reason to give up."
