EXCLUSIVE: DJAMBI embarks on the 6th international tour and represents Brazilian Reggae at major festivals!

With great willpower and courage, the Curitiba band DJAMBI set off on its 6th European tour. Making a splash wherever they go, DJAMBI was born in 1995 and since then has been gaining great prominence throughout the country and abroad. Being one of the Brazilian reggae bands with the greatest international prestige, they have already shared the stage with Jamaican music stars such as The Wailers, Peter Broggs, Andrew Tosh, Mutabaruka among others. They have performed in New York, California, as well as at many festivals across Europe. Currently formed by Marcelo, Maurício, Piuí, Marlon, Rodolpho, Neno and Gibi, the band has already scored several hits such as "Keep this feeling" and the most recent "Barca pra ilha". With 5 albums recorded with original songs, one of them even recorded live in the USA (Chicago), the band is once again raising the Brazilian flag abroad, and promises to show the best of the country's authentic reggae. On June 7 the band made its debut on the fifth tour abroad, at a workshop with the band Jabu'z in Montauroux – France, and much more is yet to come. On July 3 they play with the legendary and world-famous band Skatalites, in addition to performing at three major festivals: the Montreux Jazz Festival, the "Riversplash Festival" in Slovenia and the "Reggae Sun Ska Festival" in France. The tour ends on August 14 in Correns – France, when the band goes on vacation, with some members resting in Europe and others soon returning to Brazil to spend time with family and friends. In the first half of September, the show schedule in Brazil should resume, and everyone will be able to welcome and congratulate DJAMBI again for the excellent sound and vibrations transmitted.
