Dagô & Radical Roots record their first DVD, participate in a film and premiere their video clip on MTV!

The show scheduled for August 12, which will also be the DVD recording of the band Dagô & Radical Roots, with the participation of the band Produto Nacional, at Opnião in Porto Alegre, is confirmed. In a statement to Central Reggae, Dagô said he considers Porto Alegre the reggae capital of Brazil; according to him the city has more than 30 bands and everyone has reggae rooted in their minds for the bands there.
The choice of Porto Alegre for the DVD recording is nothing more than recognition for the enormous affection the fans showed the band during its passage through the south. "They were wonderful and unforgettable shows" comments Dagô, "The warmth and vibration of the crowd is something impressive" he adds.
Another good piece of news is Dagô's participation in the feature film "A turma do gueto", which is a huge success as a series on Record TV and which already featured Dagô's participation. At the invitation of renowned director Alex Siaretta, Dagô will take part in the feature produced by Casablanca production company, one of the country's best film producers, which should be on screens in October. To finish with a golden touch, the band's first music video is about to be released. The song "dreadlock", also the title track of the CD, will appear on MTV screens in a major graphic production.
