Some of the most significant names in national roots reggae will be on stage at the VICTORIA HALL concert hall, in São Caetano do Sul, on March 18th, Friday, to pay homage to the legend BOB MARLEY for what would be his 60th birthday, which took place on February 6th.
As the date coincided with CARNIVAL, the BOB MARLEY IN MEMORIAM - 60 YEARS party ended up being held in March, and is confirmed with shows byTRIBE OF JAH(recently returned from an American tour where she played at several festivals, including those celebrating Marley),EDSON GOMES(pointed out by specialized critics as the biggest name in national reggae), and the bandsREGGAE STYLE, LIONS OF ISRAEL, NENGO VIEIRAandDAGÔ & RADICAL ROOTS, all linked to roots reggae, the original roots reggae. Between shows, some scenes from BOB MARLEY shows will be shown on the screens, as well as documentaries and clips.
