Ex-member of the Congos, one of the greatest reggae groups ever, tries to reunite the original lineup!

Congo "Ashanti" Roy, former member of the original lineup of the group "The Congos", is trying to reunite the old partners again. "The Congos", for those who don't know, are best known for the album "Heart of Congos", which is considered by many reggae experts around the world as one of the 10 most important records in the history of Jamaican rhythm. Roy, now with his own recording studio called "Lion's Den", or "Cova do Leão", has already recorded 6 new singles that should be released this year.
The original lineup of The Congos featured Congo "Ashanti" Roy, Cedric Myton and Watty Burnet. Three years ago, after a dispute over copyright of a group song called "Don't Blame it On I", which was used in the film "Kiss of the Dragon" by 20th Fox, the group split up. Congo Roy says he has been talking a lot with Cedric, and it seems everything is fine between them now. Fans of the group around the world can start getting ready, because very soon they promise to release a new album.
