Soundsystem Brazil presents: Jammin’ in Lapa! See full details and schedule!

The Brazil Deluxe production company is starting a series of events aimed at expanding space for new talent. Every Thursday a blend of sounds will bring what's new to the Rio indie scene. Solo artists, DJs and bands will take turns at the turntables and microphones, bringing plenty of reggae and hip hop to SobradoRio, in Lapa, showing the public the best of what is being produced in Rio de Janeiro.
On the hip hop scene, the bet at this start is on DJs and MCs who are part of the movement in Rio, such as DJs Juan, Barbão, Tamempi and MC Aori, one of the newest talents in freestyle, not to mention veteran Saddam, who now drops the turntables to take the microphone for the launch of his first CD.
On the reggae side, the news comes through one of the best names in the genre in Recife, Marcelo Santana, who releases his third album, "Reggae na Alma". Together with the Pernambuco group, the electronic duo MM Dub shows its partnership with rapper and bassist, also from Recife, Marcelo Massacre. Defending the Rio reggae scene, Vell Rangel once again strikes with the excellent repertoire of his CD "A Luta Continua".
Thursday nights at Jammin´na Lapa also feature DJ and producer Fernando Costa, bringing the heavy tracks from the "Cidade do Reggae" program. Lapa is going to boil !!!

Release: Rio de Janeiro opens its doors to Recife once again. Established in Pernambuco, reggaeman Marcelo Santana shows for the first time on Carioca territory the repertoire of his third CD, "Reggae na Alma", accompanied by his fellow countrymen from the band Eddie, who make a special appearance. On the same night Santana also shares the stage with his musical partner Marcelo Massacre, former member of the band Faces do Subúrbio. Together they form the electronic duo MM Dub, a musical experiment that goes beyond the trivial. It's Recife invading Rio with full force and relevance!
