The last few months have not been very good for Reggae. In a short span of time, some of the most important exponents of the rhythm passed away, such as Justin Hinds recently. April 11, 2005 was marked by more bad news, the death of Junior Delgado, a great artist who stood out considerably in the 70s - the golden era of Jamaican Reggae.

Junior was highly respected and loved by other artists, such as Dennis Brown and released some of the most crucial works of Reggae of all time, such as "Return to Umoja". Delgado died while sleeping and left an immense legion of fans around the world.
