Learn more about the release of the Beatles Tribute featuring Planta e Raiz!

Since December 2005, the release “Album Verde - Tributo Reggae aos Beatles”, a reference to the great double album by the Liverpool boys, "Álbum Branco" (White Album), is already being sold in Argentina's Musimundo chain of stores. The album features 16 classic versions by the English band “The Beatles” taken to the Jamaican style by some of the most prominent reggae bands in countries such as: Argentina, México, Chile, Jamaica, Brasil and Costa Rica. With impeccable art and a 10-page book, “Album Verde” stands out as the album of the summer at Argentina. It also contains an interactive track with interviews with the artists and the best of the recording backstage. For Brasil, the band chosen was PLANTA E RAIZ, participating with the classic “Dont Let Me Down”, produced by Kiko Tupinambá on Midas Studios, and the result was surprising. “It's another musical source, from which we are drinking to grow more and more” - said Zeider, lead singer of Planta. Álbum Verde features 16 classic versions of Beatles in Jamaican rhythm, with the participation of the bands below.
