It's time! Festival Novos Sons da Bahia will heat up 2007 with the best of alternative music! Check it!

On January 6th and 7th, 2007, Kartódromo de Ipitanga, in Lauro de Freitas (Bahia), will be the stage for the 5th edition of Festival de Música Novos Sons da Bahia. Held by Attnom Eventos, the Festival aims to promote and publicize the revelations of our musical scene, as well as to strengthen the movement from rock to reggae in Bahia, bringing to the public bands that are not yet so recognized in the scene. For this fifth edition, 14 bands were selected through an open vote by Internet (held right here at Surforeggae), in addition to the participation of 8 invited bands. The Skate Championship and the Graffiti Artists' Art Exhibition that will take place parallel to the festival promise to shake up the place even more. The festival is charitable. Admission will be only 2kg of non-perishable food, per person. Proceeds will be donated to needy institutions.
