The "Soldiers of Jah Army" outdo themselves at Surforeggae in Concert 3! Check it out!

The Interlagos Space, house of shows in the south of São Paulo, long waited for this illustrious visit. On the last night of March 23, the American band S.O.J.A. (Soldiers of Jah Army) made an energetic presentation in the show celebrating the 3rd Surforggae in Concert and 6 years of portal. The public arrives early to check out the best bands of the national reggae circuit, such as Lions of Israel and Mato Seco, and obviously check what Curitiba, Argentina, finally, several places of the tour have already felt... the indisputable competence of SOJA. The Interlagic Space soon ran out of space, because a few weeks ago there was nothing else to talk about. The event had two stages in two different environments, one forró and the disputed reggae. While the attractions didn't start, Dj Marcello Tux announced: "Head on the head!" - The rocks started rolling between Natiruts and Balance Point, until Twinkle Brothers and Gladiators. Before the attraction of the night, two of the best bands on the national circuit performed. The Lions of Israel, which are highly respected in the middle, and the revelation of reggae in the independent scene, Mato Seco. Meanwhile, concentration and relaxation were confused in SOJA's dressing room, which met all kinds of fan requests, such as autographs, photos, and even an interview by Unisa's Radio & TV students (Thank you for the light Felipe!). Prior to SOJA presentation, problems! Some battery equipment, and even structural parts that make up a show of this size, were missing. Even with the absence, Soldiers begin a pre-show with only good riffs on Jacob's guitar, percussion and Patrick's keypad. That time was used for sound passage. The public understood the situation and waited patient. After everything was settled, the crew was rewarded with a killer non-stop opening... "Brothers and Sisters" and "Peace in a Time of War". Shanon Craig, also producer of Groundation, dominated the sound table playing effects, distributing the weight, finally, the "cherry of the cake" in the magnificent reggae of SOJA. Soldiers are starting to become popular around here, so it's natural that some work songs stand out more than others. One of them is definitely "True Love", which raised creepy choruses, and we haven't heard such a deafening and receptive audience in a long time. Even with the wear of the numerous trips of this tour, it was clear the expression of satisfaction on the faces of the "boys". Following the same line of popularity, comes "Rasta Courage", where vocalist Jacob Hemphill comes out of the microphone for the crowd to sing word for word of this beautiful harmonica and literary composition. With a few minutes to the end of the performance, the audience gradually left the venue, which is over 4:00 a.m. Out there, the climate was unstoppable and much satisfaction in proving what the world is saying: "SHOE, one of the most important bands of today!" The band still has appointments in São Paulo, and you can check them on the 24th in two places: Santo André at the Status Show and Guarulhos at International Events. Check the schedule for details.
