Outros Bárbaros 2nd Edition: Dub Poetry at an event you can't miss!

The poet Celso Borges, DJ Otávio Rodrigues, bassist Gerson da Conceição and percussionist Celso Costa present POESIA DUB, a show of music and poetry with Marian, Jamaican and Inca-venusian inspirations. With this poetic-sounding mixture, using microphones, percussion, record player and CD players, combo guarantees sound structure to the text beyond what it already has, using resources such as musical collages and coruscant effects. The result broadens the text parallel to the page, in the line of poets such as William Burroughs, Mutabaruka and Linton Kwesi Johnson. The idea is to value spoken languages in all their forms.

 Bonus Trash  Friday 20/04 (19h30): The group brings the literary work of its countrymen from Londrina (PR) to a context that unites rock’n’roll to poetic language. The presentation, based on the CD Bonus Original Trash Poetry Soundtrack, records the current production of artists such as Mário Bortolotto, Karen Debértolis, Márcio Américo, Augusto Silva and Marcos Losnak. The group consists of Valquir Fedri (vocals), Ricardo Dantas (keyboard), Márcio de Lima (guitar) and André Bartalo (bateria).  Ademir Asuncion  Saturday 21/04/19h30: The São Paulo poet presents the repertoire of the CD Rebellion in the Phantom Zone, in which he merges poetry, blues, ballads and rock’n’roll. Ademir goes up to the stage accompanied by musicians Luiz Waack (guitar and guitar), Daniel Szafran (piano and vocals), Chulapa (bass) and Leandro Pacagnela (drums). Virtual scenario: Robson Timothy. Special participation: Madan.  Ricardo Aleixo  Sunday 22/04 (19h30): The writer, musician and visual artist miner merges poetry, performance, audio and video to show the work in progress A year among humans. The musician Benedikt Wiertz and the video artist Rodrigo Coelho participate in the presentation.
