The Cidade Negra group has already chosen and announced its new front line. After Toni Garrido decided to leave the band in April this year, "Cidade" began looking for a new singer. The chosen one was Alexandre Massau, from Minas Gerais, aged 30, former member of the groups Berimbrown and Preto Massa. "It wasn't a formal invitation. Mutual friends suggested my name and I came to Rio, talked to the boys from Cidade, did tests and what happened," said the singer, according to the newspaper Extra. Massau will begin work as a vocalist at the beginning of next month.
