Check the nominees for MTV VMB 2009 in the Reggae category! Surprise in the new Musical Doc category!

VMB 2009 is on air and it is clear that the evidence we are interested in comes from the Reggae category of the award. This time the selection surrendered to dancehall and indicated two works that have been making a splash in the São Paulo scene. Jimmy Luv and Lei di Dai, due to the strength of their work, are the highlights compared to other renowned nominees. They are: Planta e Raiz and The result of this is a work closer to what the most passionate call ROOTS. Now it's up to the regueira masses to choose who takes the "cup" and a bit of the shine of the mainstream spotlight. Another good surprise is in the newcomer category, "Filme e Documentário Musical". The nominee is the documentary about the evolution of Reggae and Dub, very well done by the way, "Dub Echoes".
