Andrew Tosh performs at a renowned cultural event in Bahia! More at Surforeggae!
Andrew Tosh, a Jamaican artist who masterfully takes his father's legacy - Peter Tosh, to the seven corners of the world, will be performing once again in Brazil. Andrew is passing through South America for a mini-tour, which has already passed through Peru and Argentina, and is now the guest of honor at FEMADUM - Olodum Music and Arts Festival, which takes place annually in Salvador and brings together thousands of people in Pelourinho. The event, one of the most traditional in the country's music, culture and arts calendar, is in its 31st edition, and this time it has as a special guest Andrew Tosh, who came directly from Jamaica and will even participate in the recording of the Olodum Band's DVD. The relationship between the Jamaican singer and the group took place in 2006, when Andrew invited musicians from Olodum to participate in his DVD Tribute to Peter Tosh, which brought together thousands of people in Salvador. Andrew sang "Rastafari Is", a hit by Peter Tosh accompanied by percussion from the afro group Olodum. FEMADUM, an unmissable and free event, takes place at Largo do Pelourinho in Salvador, from the 29th to the 31st. Andrew Tosh will present its full show on the 30th, and on the 31st it will participate together with Olodum in the recording of the group's DVD.  More information: Click and access.
