The band Kayman, from Salvador, recently released their new music video, which has already received a lot of attention. The song "Na Mira" will be on the band's new CD, which will soon be released independently. The album, titled "Viver em Outra" was recorded in Salvador at Estúdio Groove, one of the best in the country and was mixed and mastered at São Paulo by Wagner "Bagão" Dias, a famous Brazilian sound engineer who has worked with names like Tribo de Jah, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Aline Duran, Mato Seco, Don Carlos, Max Romeo, Bambu Station, Groundation and SOJA. CD is executive produced by Banda Kayman and Rafael Costa (Surforeggae). The music video was filmed in the city of Salvador, with takes in popular neighborhoods such as Vale da pedrinhas, Vale da Muriçoca, São Lázaro da Federação, Calabar, Centro, Ladeira da montanha, Praça da Sé, among others. Two cameras were used: a Canon 5D, for band takes and specific locations, in addition to a micro-camera that was positioned in a car, for movement images and 180-degree filming, with a "fisheye" effect. Produced by the production company "DaHora produções", filmed by Gabriel Tenório and as Daniela Tu Chou's assistant, "Na Mira" was shot in two days. The song's theme is the raw reality of the city created by the band Kayman, alluding to our day-to-day attitudes and the way in which the media directly influences the population's behavior. Filmed on Full HD it also represents a difference in terms of its quality, with the aim of introducing the viewer in a more real way to the situation described in the script, showing that wherever you are, at any time, on any occasion, you are not 100% protected from violence, impunity and the struggle of interest that permeates society. Discovered by the eponymous program of TV Aratu (SBT) on Salvador, the music video was embraced by the program that has been playing it incessantly. Anyone who doesn't know Kayman's work, stay tuned. The band is one of the main bands in the Salvador alternative scene and already has fans in several Brazilian cities.
