Dennis Brown's legacy finally recognized in Jamaica! Check it on Surforeggae!

The Jamaican Government has finally shown recognition to the legacy of Dennis Brown, known as the prince of reggae. The Order of Distinction (O.D Commander Class) is given to Jamaican citizens who have made very significant contributions to their environment. The ceremony took place in Kingston, on October 17th, the same day as National Heroes in the country. Dennis was undoubtedly one of the greatest exponents of reggae worldwide, and passed away in 1999 shortly after a trip to Brazil.
