Steel Pulse vocalist David Hinds tours Brazil with soundsystem! Check the dates!

With his unmistakable voice, David “Dread” Hinds is without a doubt one of the greatest vocalists in the history of world reggae. Leading the band STEEL PULSE for over 35 years, winning the 1985 Grammy for the album “Babylon the Bandit” and numerous nominations for other albums made, including the only performance by a reggae band at the White House in the USA, at President Bill Clinton's inauguration party, David and his band gained international notoriety, touring the 4 corners of the planet. In Brazil, STEEL PULSE has its own history, being one of the most beloved bands by the Brazilian public, including memorable performances such as at the Hollywood Rock Festival in 1996 in Rio de Janeiro and in São Paulo in 2011 at the Virada Cultural Festival where more than 70 thousand people followed the band's show on the city streets. In an unprecedented move, David Hinds comes to Brazil at the end of March to make presentations in the “Sound System” format (DJ and Vocalist only) and present the songs that made the history of his career such as “Stepping Out”, “Ku Klux Klan”, “Rally Round”, in cities where the public has not yet had the opportunity to see the band Steel Pulse such as Belém, São Luis, Juiz de Fora and Maceió, in addition to presentations in São Paulo and Niterói. It is a unique opportunity to see one of the greatest exponents in the history of reggae up close.
