A commemorative CD box set will be released in honor of Studio One's 50th anniversary!

The children of the founder of the famous Studio One, Clement "Coxsone" Dodd have confirmed that a very special CD collection will be released in January. The occasions to be celebrated are the 50th anniversary of Studio One and the 80th anniversary of the birth of Coxsone, who died in 2004 from a heart attack. Coxsone was one of the pioneers of the Jamaican Sound Systems, through Downbeat Sound System and founded the Studio One label in 1962, through which several legends such as Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott and Alton Ellis passed.
