New chapter in the Buju Banton drama! The artist changes lawyers and faces a new trial in October!

Buju Banton, a great Jamaican exponent of ragga and dancehall was arrested in 2009 accused of drug trafficking and has since been facing American justice. Since then, there have been many appeals and all denied before the Court, and now the artist has just hired a new lawyer for the trial that will take place again in October.

Chokwe Lumumba, his new lawyer, has already defended other artists such as rapper Tupac Shakur, who has also had problems with the courts.
