"Pra Cada Um Que Nasce Aqui". This is the title of Xandão Cruz's new album, the fourth of his career. With versatile arrangements and lyrics of a political and everyday nature, the songs work very well for both those who want to dance and those who enjoy the more "analítica" sound. The partnerships were chosen with care, and the end result was a mix of Afro and digital rhythms, reggae, rap, grime, dubstep, maracatu and dancehall, all of which - of course - added to Xandão's Bahian roots. Jimmy Luv, Lincoln Rossi, Silada, Mac Garen, Ras Fernando Alves, Kuki Lhugon, Dj Cris Efx, Tales Farmer, Thaide, Sara Donato, Ago Maloka, Junior Dread, Fex Bandollero, Funk Buia, Shocolate Wonka, Paulinho Pó and Dj Gustah Echo Sound. What a team! The album also features the ’ragga’ re-recording of Thaíde’s song “Corpo Fechado”, 20 years after its original release.
