Joseph "Powda" Bennett passed away on the last day of August 20 at the age of 76, and was an original member of the great Jamaican mento group 'The Jolly Boys'.
Joseph's wife reported that he had difficulty breathing since returning from a tour with Europa earlier this month, and was admitted to Port Antonio's hospital in Jamaica.
The group has achieved international success, and constantly performs at Europa, Estados Unidos, Australia and Japan. In 2010 they performed a version of a song by Amy Winehouse, "Rehab", which is actually present on the album "Great Expectation".
Joseph "Powda" left a wife and five children.
