Donaleda releases fifth record of carreira and grava video with Cedric Myton of The Congos! Watch!

To say you like reggae in the North or Northeast of Brazil and not know Donaleda means something is wrong. One of the most prestigious bands in the upper half of the country, Donaleda wants to go further — even though they already flirted with major success in the Southeast around 2003 with the heavy hitters "Sistema Babilônico" and "Luz de Jah", both from their first album "Liberdade e Libertação".

14 YEARS ON THE ROAD

Marking 14 years of career and plenty of history to tell, fans have more than enough reason to celebrate. With the recent announcement of the release of the band's fifth album, "Vida Labirinto", Donaleda gifted Brazilian reggae fans with a bombshell of news.

BESIDE YOU feat. CEDRIC MYTON

Donaleda has just released the music video for "Beside You", a heavy track featuring Cedric Myton, voice of the legendary band The Congos. The song was written by Daniel Feitosa, Donaleda's bassist, and Cedric himself. Recording with the legendary Cedric Myton, vocalist of one of the greatest reggae bands in the world (THE CONGOS), was a great honor — especially because he is one of our biggest references at Donaleda." — they say proudly. The invitation to record came from music producer Fábio Willar, who had already been accompanying Cedric on his tour through Brazil's North and Northeast. Recording took place in Fortaleza (CE) between December 2014 and January 2015 at Pro-áudio studio, which also featured brilliant contributions from R. Zee Jackson, Bongo Joe and Monique Smith.
