"Já Chega" brings criticism of the Brazilian political system and calls for the development of education. After taking part on the 9th in the Press Awards 2015 ceremony (a prize dedicated to Brazilian artists living in the USA), singer and songwriter Rafael Pondé is betting on the release of the song "Já Chega" during the American tour he has been carrying out since March. Recorded in Florida at Medusa studio, the song is loaded with social criticism and lays bare the feelings of the Brazilian people in the face of the corruption that feeds the political system. The song also calls for special attention to education as a way to combat the conflict between social classes. After the last Brazilian presidential election, there was a wave of prejudice and hatred that flooded social networks. The song emerged as a way to express my indignation. This feeling is fundamental to artistic creation. It must be timeless" - Pondé argues. The band accompanying the artist on the recording is made up of American musicians Alex Crook on drums, Dru Michelle on piano, Dave Cotton on bass, Carissa Lawrence on vocals, Brian Stevens and Andy on horns, plus Swedish musical producer based in Bahia, Sebastian Notini, who plays percussion and also signs the musical production of the work.
