A reflection of the globalized world in multicultural Germany, Raggabund is a band that delivers pleasant sonic surprises. The smart blend of hot rhythms such as reggae, dub, ska, cumbia, salsa, hip hop, raggamuffin and electronic beats serves as the foundation for lyrics in German, Spanish and English, singing about love, everyday life in Munich and Berlin, and also about social injustice and intolerance. The South American tour (which begins on September 19 in São Paulo, at a free show as part of the Independent Culture Month) is organized by Goethe-Institut and PASCH! – Schools: Partners for the Future. Formed in Munich more than 15 years ago by brothers Paco Mendoza and Don Caramelo, Raggabund brings along their newly released album, "Buena Medicina" (2015, Irievibration Records).
