Cidade Verde Sounds has been on a significant upward trajectory for some time, crowned by recent actions in Jamaica, partnerships and the release of the major album "O JOGO". With excellent acceptance from national and even international audiences, the album was nominated for "album of the year" by the ReggaeVille portal. Won in recent years by Chronixx, Gentleman, Protoje and Damian Marley, the 2015 "battle" was also quite fierce and packed with global reggae heavyweights. Cidade Verde Sounds finished in eighth place, ahead of major names such as Jah Cure, Morgan Heritage, Israel Vibration, Niyorah, among others.
