St. Croix is a county of the U.S. Virgin Islands, known worldwide for its finest "export product": REGGAE. This small spot amid the beautiful Caribbean Sea has already gifted us with giants such as Midnite, Dezarie, Bambu Station, Iba, among others, and now Brazilians will have the opportunity to discover De Apostle, another great representative of 'V.I. Reggae'. With a dynamic sound and unique style, De Apostle stood out in St. Croix, gaining space on the scene mainly with the album "King Of The V.I.", which was even submitted for nomination in 2009 as the best reggae album of that year.

DE APOSTLE & AKANNI-I CREW

De Apostle is about to release "Razor Blade", his newest album that counted on the contribution of UniRidd Project (Brazilian production company led by Rafhari), and which will be part of the artist's setlist on Brazilian soil. In his performances, De Apostle will be well accompanied by Akanni-I Crew, a backing band formed by Cristhyan Munoz, Gustavo Fortes, Richard Teixeira, Pedro Moraes, Roger Teixeira, Thiago Beck and Rafhari, plus special appearances by Maccabee and Shine-I.

AKANNI-I RECORDS

Far more than a backing band, Akanni-I is also a reggae music production company, using its efforts to promote national and international artists. Akanni-I Records began its activities in 2015, with the union of musicians from Florianópolis (SC) and Torres (RS). The "crew" has since grown and now includes musicians from other regions. The label is currently working on its first album, which will feature the participation of several artists such as Army, Danny I, Noble Culture, Tuff Lion, Lady Passion, Misael Gonzales, as well as other great icons of the world scene, including De Apostle himself.
