Stephen Marley has just released his new album "Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life", the second in a trilogy continuation. Unlike the previous one, this does not present the same Reggae Roots approach.
However, Stephen brings an album loaded with the roots and discourse of his Marley lineage, showing more of his vision as songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer.

Indeed Stephen's new work makes clear his maturity as musical producer, conducting an album of 24 tracks and various collaborations with names like Wycleaf Jean, Shaggy, Waka Flocka Flame, Damian Marley, Kymani Marley, Junior Reid, rapper Rakin, among others.
On tracks like "Rockstone" (featuring Sizzla and Capleton) and "Ghetto Boy" (with Bounty Killer and Cobra), the singer makes apparent the denunciation of social inequality and violence in his country of origin. On "Revelation Party" he duets with his son Jo Mersa, but expands horizons toward the electronic trend music is taking while gaining greater visibility for his message.

On "Pleasure or Pain", partnership with Busta Rhymes and Koshens, he imprints a more Caribbean and Latin character. This album has a very strong nuance for nightlife and dance floors.
Much has changed from the previous album to this one. Art direction and design were by Nesta Garrick, son of Neville Garrick — renowned illustrator who created numerous Bob covers including the classic "Uprising". Neville also signs the album as art consultant. For those who like surprises, the album has other pleasant surprises.Category
