Festival República do Reggae, the largest of the genre in Latin America, is completing 13 years and has already announced part of its lineup. Among the artists are three major names from Jamaica — legendary Israel Vibration & The Roots Radics, Siddy Ranks, known for various Lover's Rock hits, and Culture, the emblematic 40-year career group founded by Joseph Hill.

Besides the three international acts, Ponto de Equilíbrio and Mato Seco are also confirmed — two heavyweight exponents of national Reggae.
2016 NEWS
This year brings some changes to the festival dynamics. The Resistência Stage, dedicated to emerging bands fighting year-round, will have some attractions chosen through public voting over the coming weeks, as was done for República stage attractions.
