Hurricane Matthew, which killed more than 900 people in the Caribbean alone last week, reached the United States on October 6.
The toll of the natural phenomenon was even more devastation, including dozens of deaths, thousands of displaced people, entire cities without electricity and even the closure of Miami airport, a crucial integration point between the Americas.

On the singer's official Facebook page, a post lamented what happened. It is time to pray for the thousands of affected families and for the damage to be recovered as soon as possible.

Due to the airport closure, Dezarie and her band, who had a flight booked with American Airlines, were unable to board from St. Croix (Virgin Islands) to Miami, and subsequently to Rio de Janeiro, the city where the first show would take place.
The airline canceled all flights in Miami for obvious safety reasons, and unfortunately fans will have to wait for new dates, since rescheduling depends not only on the artists' availability but also on the venues.
