BONS FRUTOS! From Florianópolis, Fonte Natural releases its second album!

With positive lyrics and their own productions, the band Fonte Natural hails from Florianópolis and blends Reggae with Rap and Ragga grooves, showing strength and originality in their music. After a first album (Vários Sangue Bons - 2014) packed with special guest appearances by Black Alien, Afrika Bambaataa, Thaíde, Xará, among others, the responsibility of delivering a strong second record grew even greater. With Kalango and Andrezim on vocals, Smokie Lion on instrumentals and Dj Pagé on scratches, the new album "Bons Frutos" began production in March 2016, and on top of Smokie's backing tracks, the lyrics came together naturally until they had 15 songs ready in a short time.

THE HAND OF DUBMASTOR

With a good number of compositions ready for recording the album, the search now was for the ideal sound. The band then headed to São Paulo to DubMastor's studio (Cidade Verde Sounds), where they recorded, mixed and watched the album take on a surprising shape in the producer's hands. Dubmastor's work was very important. He recorded, mixed and did the Dubs on the entire album. I handed him a 'robot' and he gave it back with a soul" - praises Smokie Lion, who has already worked with big names like Mikal Rose, Alborosie and Soom T.
