ANCESTRAL CULTURE! On National Reggae Day, JAH I RAS releases a new video!

Riding high after releasing the videos "A Múzika é um Sinal" and "Presente de Jah" at the end of 2016, the band JAH I RAS drops another music video during the National Reggae Day celebrations. The song "Cultura Ancestral" is another track that will be on the eagerly awaited album "JAHGUBE", which features special guests Cidade Verde Sounds, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Mato Seco, Junior Dread and Dada Yute. The production again had the partnership of "Maconha Seeds Bank" (the largest cannabis seed bank in Latin America), plus editing by Thomas Alexander, filming by Frederico Pereira and mixing and mastering by Rafael Paz (Unidade 76). The images were captured in Itaúnas, Espírito Santo, near the border with Bahia, on the dunes that buried the old Vila de Itaúnas. A one-of-a-kind natural setting. The theme of this song is interesting in that it informs our listeners that we deal with an age-old tradition given to Saints and prophets in communion with Angels and spiritual guides from the River Jordan to Abyssinia. We work with an Ancestral culture that values love, life, health, wisdom and spirituality, and we, as Brazilians and speakers of Portuguese, are missionaries, African messengers in these lands, and our goal and responsibility is to translate this message to those who still cannot understand it so they seek learning." - explains vocalist Ras Kadhu.
