Former drummer Steve "Grizzly" Nisbett passed away suddenly on January 18. He was one of the founders of Steel Pulse. Born on the small island of Nevis in the Caribbean, Grizzly moved with his parents to Birmingham, England at age 9. The artist's musical journey began during his adolescence and in 1977 he joined Steel Pulse, before the debut album "Handsworth Revolution". Grizzly continued as drummer until 1998 when, for health reasons, he handed the post to Conrad Kelly, but remained in the group as a percussionist. In 2001 he left the band permanently. Steve Nisbett passed away suddenly at age 69 for causes not yet disclosed.
