Mourning! Brazil loses a reggae warrior: farewell to Felipe Silva, from Monte Zion!

Felipe Silva, also known as Felipe Zion, lost his life after drowning at Grumari beach (Rio de Janeiro). Vocalist of the Rio band Monte Zion, formed in 1999, he released his first album in 2002 and gained major attention with the track “Vida”. Monte Zion recorded with reggae icons such as Andrew Tosh, The Congos and Pato Banton. Felipe had been missing since August 28, and today, September 3, his body was found by firefighters. Our most sincere condolences to all family members and friends.
