Anthony B was born in the rural ghetto of "Clark’s Town" in Trelawny, Jamaica. His very religious family created in him a very deep spirituality from childhood. His career began influenced by names such as Peter Tosh, one of his favorite artists. Still in childhood, at age 12, he debuted on the "Shaggy Hi-Power" sound system. At the time, songs with negative lyrics were the biggest hits on the island, and he decided to follow the opposite path. Since then, his conscious songs have broken through and Anthony has become one of the biggest names of his generation. It is this internationally renowned artist who will soon be welcomed in Brazil. Anthony B will perform at the mega festival "Kaya Reggae Fest" in São Paulo, and in Pelourinho, Salvador. It will be a much-awaited debut, and fans from all over the country hope it opens paths for many more shows in the following years.
