Albert “Apple” George Craig, one of the founders of the legendary Jamaican vocal trio “Israel Vibration”, left us last Monday, according to sources close to the artist. He had been hospitalized since early March in Atlanta, United States, where he lived.
Apple was born on April 24, 1955 and was about to turn 65, but succumbed to complications resulting from diabetes, a stroke that paralyzed one side of his body, and other combined health problems. He was the author and singer of some of Israel Vibration's main hits, such as “There is no End” and “Rudeboy Shufflin”. Apple remained in the group until 1997, beginning a solo career that did not achieve much success, releasing only three albums in 23 years.

We had the pleasure of working with the singer on a major tour - REGGAE HEROES - alongside the no less legendary Don Carlos and singer Aline Duran, in 2009. Without a doubt, a great loss for the world of reggae. Rest in peace!
See this and other legends who have already left us in the special "In Memoriam" section.

His memory will remain alive through classic albums such as “The Same Song”, “Unconquered People”, “Strenght of my Life”, “Praises”, “Forever”, “On the Rock” and “Live Again”. Since 1997, Israel Vibration has continued with Skelly and Wiss, accompanied by Roots Radics.
