Jah I Ras releases a historic music video about the fascist invasion of Ethiopia! Watch!

Jah I Ras has just released the music video for "Invasão da Ethiopia". The song talks about a regrettable and historic event: the advance of Fascism. Troops led by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini invaded Ethiopia, in Africa, in the 1930s. The video shows the unanswered appeal by Haile Selassie (then Emperor of Ethiopia) to the League of Nations. The Ethiopians resisted, and the Italians simply began using chemical weapons, including against civilians. The fascist genocidal offensive led to the deaths of almost 1 million people. The subject is timely at a moment when several nations have once again been threatened by fascist and authoritarian regimes in recent years. Fascism has as one of its main characteristics the establishment of a system in which only the party itself has the right to political action within the national territory. In addition, there is the cult of its leader, contempt for individual freedoms and democracy, contempt for collectivist values and mobilization of the masses.
