Morgan Heritage family patriarch Denroy Morgan dies after long battle with cancer.

Sad news for Reggae Mundial. We lost Denroy Morgan, aged 76 after a long battle with cancer. Morgan is known as the patriarch of the Morgan Heritage family, but did you know he had an incredible 30 children? Being a great influence on this creation, most of them left for the world of reggae, where they formed groups such as LMS, The Dreads and the acclaimed Morgan Heritage. Denroy left a legacy of 104 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Born in Clarendon, Jamaica in 1946, he moved to the United States at age 19 to become a musician. Our condolences to family and friends. He was also known for his compositions, productions and for being an ambassador for the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Rest in peace.
