Few singers manage to transcend their genre without losing the essence of who they are. Superstar Maxi Priest is one of those artists whose privileged vision led him to achieve resounding worldwide success. He was the first reggae artist to top the international charts, including Billboard's American chart.
Maxi recently released his first studio album in 5 years, titled "Easy To Love". His new album is the purest representation of the most romantic reggae. The sophistication he brings to the tracks is the mark of true quality; his smooth blend of reggae, R&B and dancehall has universal appeal.

Maxi's version of “If I Gave My Heart To You”, by John McLean, reminds us of when his star was beginning to shine. Today, with more than 15 million copies sold worldwide, he is the most successful solo artist in the history of British reggae and has earned the respect of fellow artists in every corner of the planet.
Although “Easy to Love” is essentially an album of love songs, it closes with a song first recorded by Ras Michael & the Sons of Negus in the 70s. Maxi's version of “None A Jah Jah Children” is highly original and a blessing that carries us safely into a Rasta grounation or Nyahbinghi ceremony — a gathering of the faithful, where we are assured that no matter the difficulties, Jah's children will always triumph.

MAXI FOR EVERYONE
New and longtime fans will delight in hearing tracks such as “Loving You Is Easy,” “Holiday,” and “Still In Love”, irresistible tributes to lasting love. Maxi has been speaking to women's hearts since the mid-80s, when he dominated the British reggae chart with hits such as “Should I” and “Strollin’ On”.
