Strong Roots movement in Salvador: Unidos e Resistentes gives a show at Espaço Verde! Check it out!

Salvador is going through a very good process of Reggae revitalization. Excellent bands of authentic Roots Reggae are once again having good opportunities to show their work to the public. Groups such as Red Meditation, Semente da Paz, Moa Anbesa, Ras Ednaldo Sá among others have stood out in terms of originality and fidelity to the original sound produced in Jamaica in the 1970s. Another great example is the band Unidos e Resistentes, which last Saturday, September 11, gave a show at Espaço Verde. The event, which also featured Márcio Dread, was marked by harmony and a feeling of peace that reigned among the people who were able to enjoy the sound and Jah's message. Reação from Aracaju – SE, which was also scheduled to perform, had some problems and could not come to Salvador. However, the acts present shone and pleased the audience greatly. In short, any form of support for this movement that is happening is welcome. Every week there will be shows by the best bands that play authentic Roots Reggae, which always seeks to leave an important message for its listeners.
