Fábrica Shows hosts major national reggae names in tribute to the unforgettable Peter Tosh.

After countless tributes to the mega-star of the Third World, Bob Marley, it is now the turn of one of his main allies in the old The Wailers: Peter Tosh. Promoted by Circuito Reggae, the event was scheduled for 8:00 p.m., and Fábrica Shows did not show a big audience at first — but only at first. The bands Arkaya and Motivo de Chacota made their performances with great drive and quality, but the audience only truly showed up starting with the third band, Sensimilla Dub. Even with a short set, the band stirred the Fábrica, which was already in the mood to face the coming hours of reggae.
It was time for the band Mato Seco, which, though unknown to some, was highly performative. With a heavy sound and peculiar style, roots was well represented by them, leading the crowd on some “trips.” At its peak audience, Fábrica Shows welcomed Expressão Regueira. Always a great performance, which receives constant appreciation from the crowd. Without letting the audience cool down, the band Noção Rasta releases its repertoire. Despite the tribute to Peter Tosh, Bob Marley was also remembered.
The show went well until the end, but fatigue began to make a difference among the audience. Gil Felix still caught the house full, but Leões de Israel, one of the highlights of the night, played very late and some had already left, even with the excellent performances of both bands. Fábrica Shows is carving out a strong place in the São Paulo circuit, and events like this will happen quite frequently at this house in the East Zone. Keep an eye on the schedule.
