Success at the recording of Moa Anbesa's live CD! Feel one of reggae's biggest promises!

Counting on a "team" of top quality musicians, the band Moa Anbesa showed on Saturday, July 23rd at Espaço Verde at Salvador-BA why it is considered today as one of the greatest promises of Brazilian Roots Reggae in recent times. Detonating a sequence of songs that have already become true classics, and that will soon certainly be invading Brazil, the band formed by Ijahwel I’n’I (Voice and keyboards), Milan Gordillo (lead guitar), Ricardo Cruz (bass), Jorge de Souza and Javier Otamendi (rhythm guitar) made the audience vibrate and sing along to all the songs. The show was also marked by three more than special appearances: Alumínio, a remnant of the band Bem Aventurados, Ricky Husbands, an international artist who, among other highlights, worked for 7 years with Jimmy Cliff, and on percussion Ras Sidney, who has played with big bands like Red Meditation and now continues with to Kebra Nagast. The Reggae night was opened by the Band Unidos & Resistentes, already well known in the city's alternative scene for their spiritual music and highly engaged in reality. The mixing and mastering process for the Moa Anbesa live CD will begin soon, and there will be another release show to commemorate the event.
