On September 11, 2007, known as the same day as the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in the USA, we completed 20 years without Peter Tosh, who was brutally murdered with two shots to the head in his own home in Jamaica in 1987. Explanations and questions aside, the fact is that, in a tragic and untimely way, we suffered the loss of one of the biggest names in Reggae and, why not say in world music. And, apart from his brilliant artistic career, we cannot forget his importance as a defender of the flags of justice, equality and freedom. His legacy includes, in addition to countless hits that to this day are confused with the very identity of Reggae, a powerful message that insists on remaining current. Peter Tosh's eldest son, Andrew Tosh made his musical debut at his father's funeral in 1987 and since then has forged a career that has brought back all of Peter's music, message and rebellion. To remember 20 years without Peter Tosh, a major tour will be held in Brazil with Andrew Tosh, one of those most responsible for keeping alive all of Peter's brilliance that was prematurely interrupted by the stain of crime. Several cities have already been confirmed, and other dates are to come. The tour will also feature the bands Mato Seco (São Paulo), and Planeta Reggae (São Paulo), formed especially to sing the biggest Reggae hits worldwide.
