Jamaican Jah Cure began his career in 1997 by releasing the single"King of the Jungle"with Sizzla, produced by Beres Hammond. In 1998, the artist was arrested on charges of possession of weapons, rape and robbery. Always declaring his innocence, Jah Cure received support from all the media and artists in Jamaica and while he was in prison he released 3 albums. Jah Cure was released in 2007, having released"True Reflections... A New Beginning"3 days later, which was just released in Brazil by VP Records.
The album makes a perfect mix of traditional Reggae with new rhythm trends. Highlights include tracks based on successful Jamaican Riddims such as"I-Swear Riddim"and"Sun Is Shining". For those who don't know Jah Cure yet, it's worth checking out.

With names like Bounty Killer and Jeovanne Brown as mentors, Mavado participated in several successful riddims such as"Cassava Piece Riddim", until releasing his first album"Gangsta for Life". For Dancehall and Ragga lovers, the album that has just been released by VP Records Brasil is a complete treat. Always with controversial lyrics, Mavado has even had music chosen for the soundtrack of the famous video game"GTA - Grand Theft Auto IV".
